Train Crash
There was a horrendous rail crash in Osaka - yesterday I think. It feels so personal to us as we were in and out of Osaka several times until Friday. Don't have all the facts, but I think there were 45 dead, 400 +/- injured. I think they haven't had an accident of proportion for 40 or so years, so it's shocking. It seems that a corner was taken too fast - driver error - and it derailed and ploughed into a building. It wasn't the Shinkansen but a commuter train......we were on those too.I've now heard the death toll is over 100 and they found the driver's body who was only 23 years old. It's so tragic.
