Administering the details

Our Japan sojourn beckons. It's getting closer. Have to look after the details now. Today, I emailed to reserve a pickup service from Kansai Airport to our hotel in Kyoto. I hope I get a response, not like the APA Hotel who consistently ignored my emails. I don't think that English was spoken much.

As far as money goes, I think I'll buy about 30,000 yen here before we go and take US cash & travellers' cheques and Cdn cash & travellers' cheques.

I'd still like to arrange to have 'tea' in a private home - Kyoto I think would be best. The tea ceremony fascinates me and I'd love to experience it the way it's practiced as a daily routine. I have a phone number that I can call when we get there to see if it's possible.
